Fourteen
by the time we finally meet
i will have been distilled
to a single line drawing
pulled from an etching
that was done by tracing
the highlights in a woodcut
patterned after an oil portrait
based on a watercolor
hand-painted over the projection
of a tinted second print
of a fading black-and-white photo
of me on my fourteenth birthday
and you will know everything
and nothing at all about me
